My teaching philosophy centers around having students think critically about the material they are learning and understand 1) how the process of critically evaluating ideas and knowledge is a crucial skill and 2) how psychology applies to their every day life. Most recently, I co-taught a course on Research Methods where we asked our students to think of various ways to test a question they were interested in and then had them go out and actually test it. Our syllabus for the course can be found here.
